Big Creek Historic/Prehistoric Tour
1–3:00 pm

Join an easy 2‐mile hike from Brookside Reservation to West Park Cemetery and back to view Big Creek "before I‐71."

Join Cleveland Museum of Natural History paleontologists and examine fossil replicas of the giant carnivorous fish Dunkleosteus found during the excavation and leveling of the landscape.

Visit the grave site of Cleveland Metroparks founder William Stinchcomb, where the cemetery was divided by the highway.

Learn about plans to return Big Creek into its historic channel.

Light refreshments.

Meet: Park along John Nagy Blvd. off Ridge Rd. in Cleveland Metroparks Brookside Reservation.
