Volunteers needed!

Big Creek Connects joins with Canalway Partners in RiverSweep, Ohio’s largest done-in-a-day cleanup effort. Each year, on the Saturday before Mother’s Day, local businesses, schools and individuals team up to clean our shared backyard.

Big Creek/Lower Harvard clean-up site – meet at Iron City Café, 4002 Jennings Road at Harvard, Cleveland 44109. 9 a.m. to Noon. Contact bgardin@bigcreekconnects.org

Volunteer for RiverSweep

RiverSweep is a great opportunity for companies, members of a club or association, or even just a group of friends or family members who would like to get together for a volunteer activity. Last year 950 volunteers removed over 80 tons of trash, including 475 tires!

The first 700 volunteers will receive a free t-shirt. Gloves and bags will be supplied. After the cleanup there is a celebratory luncheon with food and entertainment!

Volunteers must sign a waiver before they participate. Click Here to download the waiver, additional waivers will be available at our cleanup site. Children under the age of 16 must have the waiver signed by an adult.
